Look at the hand work, Sister Gardner uses these little pliers to pull her needle thru. We are giving this quilt to  Kevin McNevin who came and gave a fireside to us.  He is the man who provides all the horses in all church made movies.  He knows all the big wigs.  He sure can play the guitar and sing too!

Finishing another quilt, man my fingers are sore.  I use those little rubber things on my fingers, they save them big time!

Cooking for the Cove Missionaries Visit

Sister Bagley, Sister Brown, Sister Henry & Sister Bagley, pulling the homemake rolls out of the oven.  The menu was Shepherds Pie, Fruit Salad, Rolls, & a Lemon Ice Cream dessert.  All turned out great!

Building the New Vistors Center

Standing at River Camp looking up at the new Vistors Center.  This is where Elder Bulechek goes to work everyday.  He works from 8 to noon, home for lunch until 1pm then back to work until 6pm.  This is a good day, it's not snowing or raining.  He sure gets cold sometimes.

This is the little garden I am in charge of.  I have already cleaned this out of all the dead stuff and put in new soil.  I have started some seedlings in egg cartons that I keep inside my jeep at night then bring them out during the day.  Today some of the cartons blew off the table while we were at church and Willie torn them up!  It is much harder to grow things out here.  I hope I will be able to get some color going in this.  So this is the before picture hopefully the after picture will look much better.

Elder Christensen is in charge of all the grounds on the Property around the visitors center and Missionary Village.  Here he is filling our wheelbarrels with new bark.

Sister Gardner hauled about 30 loads of bark to us to spread. I hope I can do this kind of work when I am 73!

Yard Crew

My Mom and Dad got this for Elder Bulechek and I so the weather has gotten good enough to hang.  Will see when the winds start to blow again, it could end up in Nebraska.  I hope not.  Well I am caught up and up to date on my blog.  I hope you will follow us on this journey, we are having the time of our lives and can't wait until the kids and families start to show up.  Bye for now, our love is with you.

Willie wants a treat Elder Bulechek

Elder and Sister Christensen from the Willie Center.  They are the supervisors over the Yard Crew.  They are responisble for the entire grounds out at the Willie site.

Visiting Martin's Cove to walk their trails.  Here is Gary pulling the handcart.  We pulled about 11 miles that day.  From now on when I talk about Martin's Cove it will be referred to as the "Cove"

The little cubbies above are where we put our projects we are working on.  We each have one.  I love all these ladies!  from left to right are Sister Henry from John Day Oregon, sitting at the sewing machine is Sister Stokes from Logan Utah she is in my District, Sister Smith from American Fork Utah also in my district and Sister Gardner.  She is 73 years old and she has the energy of a 40 year old.  She has the best personality.  She makes me laugh and I could talk to her all day, her voice is like a Fairy Godmothers

This is my plant Sue.  I brought her from home because my friend Susen gave her to me for Christmas.  She loves Wyoming

Meet Willie the Missionary Village dog.  As you can see we have our Motorhome back, yeah!  Willie keeps us all happy and protects the village by keeping away the wolves, skunks, bobcats and bulls but he leaves the ferral cats alone so they can do their job by keeping the mice down.  He loves hand outs and we are always ready to give him a treat!

We took food, clothing and supplies to last us 3 days.  Cute trailer, looks just like the one we bought from Scotty and put up in the Trailer Park in Bellemont.

A Trailer for 3 days

Our Director Elder Bagley supplied us with a trailer to live in for 3 days while our Motor home got fixed.  20 minutes after arriving the snow storm hit. It was so nice of them we were so happy, even though we didn't have hot water we could walk over to the Humanitarian center where they have a shower in the girls restroom.  They men's bathroom is also the broom closet, hahaha they have to use the girls shower.
